Digital analyser with pulse pump for determination of CO content in exhaust gases. The Gunson CO tester is suitable for testing and adjusting all carburettors working with leaded or unleaded petrol, as well as for adjusting petrol injection systems. This gas tester is a simple and economical method of seeing the correct fuel mixture.

 

The Gas Tester is an analyser that works on the “hot wire principle” or thermal conductivity principle: the thermal conductivity of exhaust gases varies proportionally to the amount of carbon monoxide present. An externally mounted pulse pump pumps exhaust gas through the Gastester. The pulse pump uses the positive and negative pressure waves generated by the exhaust gas to force the exhaust gas through the Gastester. The pump consists of a diaphragm with a check valve. Therefore, you will hear the pump click only when it is connected to the exhaust.
