Using LED bulbs to replace halogen or incandescent bulbs allows you to benefit from much more powerful and even illumination, while significantly reducing power consumption, thus preserving your classic car's alternator, beam and comodo.
The adaptation of LEDs on more recent vehicles will also promote safety, by increasing the power of the beam to improve safety in night driving mode.
This new R2 P45T LED bulb, provides brightness equivalent to a 100w halogen bulb for only 1.5 amps consumption at 6v (0.9A at 12V).

This bulb is pure Plug&Play, requiring no modification or customisation. It is placed on the original support instead of the old bulb.
The lifetime of LED bulbs is estimated at 20 to 30,000 hours, which is much longer than that of traditional bulbs (2 to 3,000 hours).
Choosing to equip your vehicle with LED lights is not just a fashion issue, it is primarily a matter of safety and visual comfort on the road.
Preserving the vehicle's mechanical and electrical components is also a decisive argument for switching to LED.

The benefits :
- Increased lighting power equivalent to 100w halogen
- Lower consumption < 2A
- Instant and controlled ignition
- Robust and neat construction in aircraft aluminium
- Intensive use
- Easy and quick installation in place of your R2-CE lamp
- Asymmetrical flat beam

Today, the replacement of halogen, xenon and LED lamps is not allowed under current legislation. In the EU, car parts must be certified according to UNECE specifications for use on public roads. Current ECE certificates only apply to halogen, xenon and LED lamps installed in new vehicles: However, there are no specific approval requirements or restrictions for the use of retrofit LED lamps on private roads.
