LEATHER REPAIR KIT FOR STEERING WHEEL BLACK COLOURLOCK

The COLOURLOCK leather repair kit is ideal for black steering wheels with local scratches and abrasions.

 

Contains:

1 x Mild leather cleaner 30 ml

1 x Degreaser 30 ml

1 x Sanding pad

1 x Leather Fresh colour refresher 30 ml black

1 x Elephant leather grease 15 ml

1 x Leather Shield 30 ml

1 x Glove

3 x Sponge

3 x Viscose cloth

 

Procedure:

1. First clean the dirty steering wheel with the mild leather cleaner and the sponge. Then wipe with the cloth.

2. Smooth rough areas with the sanding pad.

3. Thoroughly degrease the area to be coloured with the degreaser and the second cloth.

4. Apply the Leather Fresh colour refresher with the second sponge in a dabbing or circular motion and dry with a hair dryer. Smooth out uneven areas with the sanding pad and reapply the Leather Fresh.

5. If the leather is older and shiny, gently re-grease with ELEPHANT leather grease after tinting. Rub a little leather grease onto the third cloth and apply evenly without applying strong pressure. Otherwise proceed to step 6.

6. 24 hours after tinting, treat the leather with the Leather Shield. Apply some sealant to the third sponge and apply thinly and evenly without rubbing vigorously. Then dry with a hairdryer.
