THREAD GAUGE COMBINED METRIC/WHITWORTH 52 LEAVES

Handy thread gauge that allows you to quickly and accurately determine the pitch of a wire. Works according to the so-called light-gap method. The template is placed along the wire with a light source behind it. If there is a gap between them, a different sized template must be chosen until one is found that does not let light through and exactly fits the contours of the thread.
