VARNISH FOR LIGHT ALLOY CRANKCASES (Alufilm 4040)

Alufilm 4040 (e.g. VCA 4040) is a one-component, colourless varnish for the protection of metals.

Polished surfaces = glossy appearance

Unpolished surfaces = matt appearance

Two uses:

- Without baking: anti-corrosion protection, anti-tarnishing of parts not subject to heating (old tools, weapons, bronzes, etc.)

- With baking: (2 hours at 120°C in a domestic oven) total insensitivity to oils, fuels, de-icing salts... and heat (up to 180°C permanently) (alloy casings, Japanese motorbikes in particular...)

Application: brush, spray on stripped or polished parts.

 

Packaging: 250 ml (1 to 2 m² depending on the application method)
